An outstanding example of an early seal top spoon. Made by William Cawdel with nice London Hallmarks for 1609. It is in exceptional condition, with little or no wear to the bowl. Engraved with cotemporary initials “M R”. With a weight of 1.14 toz and Length of 5 3/4" it has a “text book” V notch join to the cushion and vacant seal top finial.
