A rare piece of Georgian silver, made of a good gauge silver, this lancet case measures 63mm by 40 mm at its widest. Its tapering body is extensively engraved and chased. The hinged cover opens to reveal six compartment for lancets. Two of which are still present. It has a full set of sterling silver hallmarks for London 1821 with the maker’s mark of Thomas Gairdner.
