18th Century silver mote spoon c1775

J*S is probably John Schofield. Listed by Grimwade under Unregistered Marks [mark no.3709]. It may have been recorded in the lost 1758-1773 Largeworkers' Register.

Measuring 5½” length , it is in excellent condition, with no splits or dents.
